About "Infiltration"
The xuan paper is spread over the felt, and by the penetrative force of water and ink, the traces left on the paper are preserved. The further traces resulting from the penetration into the felt are regarded as useless, but it is just this useless material that attracts me. The xuan paper is above, and the felt below. Their existence is random, inevitable, useless and useful. It is penetration and being penetrated. It all occurs in the Tao of transformation between yin and yang.
